AVC Live provide technical production
at the Rugby World Cup
The biggest sporting event of the year opened at Twickenham Stadium with over 80,000 spectators, including royalty and rugby legends taking their seats to witness the most coveted Rugby World Cup in history. With ticket sales and global viewing figures at an all time high, the hospitality tickets have sold fast with all conference and events spaces within the stadium being utilised for hosting luxury dinners and entertainment.
Rugby Travel Hospitality (RTH) were appointed to manage the Official Hospitality for the Rugby World Cup 2015 and AVC Live were awarded the contract to produce all technical production in up to 14 large event spaces, many of which are hosting around 500 people per room, per game.
AV technical production include:
- Large LED screens and multiple projection
- Bespoke set builds with integrated screens in the premium spaces and LED lighting to match RWC branding
- HD TV feeds of live matches and post match relays
- Weekly highlights VT’s
- Pre and post match guest speakers with rugby legends
AVC are providing RTH with a fully manned technical crew every match day as well as production support throughout the tournament to work together on logistics, video content, running schedules, show run-throughs and all additional AV requests.
The tournament comes to an end at Twickenham Stadium with the final being held on Saturday 31st October.
